PLANT CARE

• Growth habit: climber, eaves will become larger if allowed to climb up a totem or structure.
• Water: allow to dry slightly between waterings
• Temperature: 60-75ºF/16-24ºC (cold sensitive)
• Potting medium: High quality, chunky aroid mix, fast draining soil

LIGHT
Philodendron 'Imperial Green' can stand with low light conditions, but grows better and produces more leaves if placed in bright indirect light. No direct sunlight–the sun will burn the foliage.

WATER
Water your Philodendron well and allow the top half of the soil to dry before the next watering. Yellow leaves is a sign of overwatering, brown leaves can indicate the plant needs more water.

HUMIDITY
Average household humidity is fine for this Philodendron, but higher humidity encourages larger leaves.

TEMPERATURE
Your Philodendron will grow well in temperatures between 65-80 degrees during the day and above 55 degrees at night. Keep it away from drafts, especially during the winter months.

FOOD
Feed your Philodendron monthly in the spring and summer with a basic houseplant food diluted to half the recommended strength. Fertilize every other month in the fall and winter months.

**PLEASE NOTE: The plant will need time to adjust to your environment. Initial cosmetic issues such as browning tips or leaves yellowing can occur. These are results of stress from transit & the shipping process. Some damage can occur during transit – this is normal. With the proper care your plant will soon outgrow any shipping damage that may have occurred. Familiarize yourself with your new plants requirements and be prepared to provide them with the proper light, humidity, and water upon arrival.

Before shipping, all of our plants are inspected and photographed. Your new plant's pot is then bagged to ensure that the soil stays in the pot and not loose in the box. Plants are wrapped in kraft paper to protect the foliage and secured in place and cushioned with biodegradable peanuts.

Depending on the plant type and/or needs, your plants will be shipped in a nursery grow pots or unpotted, bare root, and wrapped in sphagnum moss for shipping.

If you receive your order and have any issues or it is in poor condition, damaged during transit or extended shipping times please let us know immediately upon receiving your shipment with photos and or video of the exterior of the box, packing materials inside the box and the plant itself after unpacking and we will be happy to help you file a USPS Insurance claims. We can not replace any items without proper photo documentation nor can we replace plants after they have been in your care as we cannot control the growing conditions after they leave our care.
